It’s all well worn quality leather, wool plaid jackets and old sweaters.
Real old money actually dresses almost like they have no money at all, because they have grown up with so much of it material posessions is not important to them, it just needs to work properly and last long so they won’t bother to replace it too often.
They rather spend their money into activities such as hunting, horses(betting/polo), golf, tennis, boats, property, interior (mahagony furniture/chesterfield/good paintings etc).
An old rich house is not all white.
It is filled with old hand-me-down wooden furniture that «belongs to the house», crystal chandeliers, silver/porcelain diningware and paintings dated before Picasso.
If you serch up the aestetic «dark academia», you get something more similar to what real «old money» looks like.
